Admission Application Procedure

The registration form can be filled both manually and through online medium.

Manual - For manual registration, the registration form can be collected from the school office following payment of the registration fee. Once the form is filled up manually, it needs to be submitted to the school office. The applicant will then be given an Admit Card from the school where the date of interaction/ observation will be mentioned

Online - For online registration, the digital registration form can be availed from the official school website (www.tigps.in). Students who have submitted the form online must pay the registration fee on the day of the interaction/observation. The date of interaction/observation will be informed to you through your registered mobile number and email ID. Our executive counsellor will get back to you for intimation of further proceedings. Once the registration process is completed successfully, the student will be assigned a unique Application ID. Please mention the online user ID for all future correspondence.

Mere allotment of a user ID to an applicant will not ensure admission. Admission will depend on the selection process.

Allotment of a user ID would not ensure admission of the applicant

Admission will be based on the merit of the child and the results of the Entrance Examination. The school will have the final decision for admission.

The following documents are required for registration:

  • A photocopy of the Birth Certificate from Kolkata Municipal Corporation/ Municipality/ Registrar attested by any Gazetted Officer. Affidavits or photocopy of the attested birth certificate is not acceptable.
  • A photocopy of the Report Card from the school last attended. (Not applicable for Play Group, Nursery, and KG).
  • One stamp-size photograph of the child.

Candidates of online registration are required to present the above documents on the day of the interaction/observation.

Final Admission prerequisites

  • The final selection list for admission into a particular class will be displayed on the School Notice Board and on the school website.
  • The admission form has to be filled up and signed by both the parents
  • The fee is required to be paid within the due date in cash or demand draft.
  • The original Birth Certificate has to be presented at the time of admission for verification purposes.
  • Four coloured passport-size photographs of the student and one each for both the parents (size 3.5cm X 2.5cm) must be submitted
  • Submission of Transfer Certificate from the school last attended (not applicable for Play Group to class I).
  • TC needs to be counter signed by the District Education Officer/ Regional Officer for outstation students from class VIII onwards.

Refund of Fees

  • Admission fee is non-refundable under any circumstance.
  • The security deposit might be refundable under the condition that a written intimation is provided to the school authority within the stipulated time period (30 days from the date of admission and prior to commencement of normal classes). Only students admitted with all relevant documents will be eligible for a refund of the security deposit only.
  • However, no security deposit would be refunded to students withdrawing his or her admission fee without intimation to the school authority after the stipulated time period, mentioned above.
  • No outstanding dues to the school will be adjusted against the security deposit.

Withdrawal policy:

Students applying for a Transfer Certificate halfway through the academic term would be liable to fee payment for the entire academic year.
